The Roswell Museum – in collaboration with area educational, science and cultural leaders – is presenting the annual Roswell Science and Art Festival on Saturday, October 14 at the Roswell Convention Center (912 N. Main St., Roswell). This free all-ages event will present a fun-filled day of science and art opportunities with the aim of inspiring the next generation of creative and innovative thinkers.
The event will kick-off with an Eclipse Viewing Party at 10 am! Roswell will be one of the best locations to see the annular solar eclipse! We’ll have glasses to give away, information on the eclipse, and NASA researchers will be on site to answer questions!
Dozens of activities will be in and around the Convention Center, including the Make Lab hands-on area, a Science Museum with demonstrations and displays, the Wonder Garden with a Magic Fort and Giant Bubbles, the Goddard Planetarium will premiere a new full-dome show, ENMU-Roswell will present shows in their inflatable planetarium, the Xcel Energy Giant Lite Bright, and Tinker Tots will be open just for little ones and their families with art and science activities designed specifically for ages 4 and under.
